
Middle East University participated in a qualitative national event to launch the “Odoo Educational Programme”, which was sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Eng. Sami Samirat, and attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahaftha.
This participation, which was organised through the Faculty of Business, reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation in higher education and engage in strategic partnerships with major international technological institutions.
The Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Sharbati; the Head of the Digital Supply Chain Department, Dr. Nagwa Al-Ashaal; and the Coordinator of the Supply Chain Management and Digital Logistics Programme, Dr. Maha Al-Sheikh, participated in the event, believing that this participation is the culmination of a partnership agreement between Middle East University and Odoo, a global leader in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and one of the top five companies in the industry.
This participation contributes to the realisation of the objectives of Jordan Vision 2030 by building a new generation of graduates qualified to lead digital transformation in the public and private sectors. It also falls within the university’s commitment to its national role as an educational institution that contributes to economic and social development and supports modernity within high-quality academic frameworks.
