This development is indicative of the university’s unwavering commitment to enhancing institutional and academic excellence and expanding its societal impact, both nationally and regionally, as outlined in its newly formulated strategic plan for the years 2025 to 2030.
This initiative is undertaken within the broader scope of the university’s ongoing commitment to modernise its educational and administrative framework. This endeavour ensures alignment with the evolving national and international developments, as well as the renewed demands of the labour market.
The university’s strategic vision is outlined as follows:

In accordance with the university’s mission, its focus is as follows:
“Preparing graduates who fulfil the requirements of both the local and international labour markets, fostering high-quality, impactful applied scientific research, serving the community, and developing international academic partnerships.”
The university has formally endorsed the strategic objectives outlined below:

In this regard, the President of the University, Professor Salam Al-Mahadin, stated that through its new vision, Middle East University is striving to consolidate its position as a leading academic institution that contributes to propelling the nation towards broader horizons of development and prosperity. She emphasised that the imminent phase will witness substantial qualitative transformations in education, scientific research, and community service, thereby further consolidating the university’s pioneering status and its contribution to cultivating professionals equipped to thrive in a future-oriented world.
