The Technical College at Middle East University facilitated a valuable opportunity for discourse during its orientation meeting for students commencing their studies in the new academic year, held in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Anas Al-Ashram, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nasoour, and members of the academic staff.
In his opening address, Dr. Al-Ashram expressed his pride in the new students joining the university community. He confirmed the college’s unwavering dedication to cultivating an educational environment that integrates theoretical knowledge seamlessly with practical application, thus aligning with the demands of the labour market in the context of rapid digital transformation.
Moreover, he placed particular emphasis on the critical importance of student engagement with university life and their participation in academic and extracurricular activities, noting that these activities contribute significantly to refining both their technical and personal competences.
Subsequently, Dr. Al-Nsour presented a comprehensive overview of the key university regulations and guidelines that govern academic life. He emphasised that adherence to academic values and responsibility constitutes the bedrock for building a successful university experience.
Concluding the meeting, an open dialogue session was facilitated between the students and the academic staff, thereby enabling an exchange of views and addressing various enquiries.
