The Faculty of Media recently hosted an event to welcome its new students and facilitate their introduction to the institution. This initiative forms part of the faculty’s ongoing commitment to establishing an academic environment that is both stimulating and founded on creativity and pioneering spirit and to enhancing student integration into university life, with the objective of introducing the students to the faculty’s distinctive educational and training system, which is aligned with the rapid developments in the fields of media and communication.
During the session, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ramez Abu Hassereh, extended a formal welcome to the new students, emphasising that their admission to the Faculty of Media signifies the commencement of an academic and professional journey grounded in experiential learning. The faculty’s strategic framework, which is clearly delineated, aims to cultivate a skilled media professional who is capable of both critical thinking and creativity. This objective is pursued through the implementation of advanced academic programmes and the establishment of effective partnerships with local, Arab, and international media institutions.
