Middle East University hosted the Jordanian Bar Association’s written qualifying examinations, with more than 1,400 aspiring lawyers sitting the assessments. The event highlights the deepening strategic partnership between Jordan’s higher education institutions and its professional bodies.
During an inspection of the proceedings, the president of the Bar Association, Mr. Yahya Abu Abboud, praised the university’s role as a “vital pillar” in supporting the Kingdom’s legal framework. Accompanied by the university’s Vice President, Prof. Ahmad Al-Louzi, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Ayman Al-Rafou, Mr. Abu Abboud commended the university for providing a professional environment that reflects its status as a leading academic institution.
Moreover, the hosting of the examinations aligns with the university’s mission to foster integration between the academic and professional sectors, a move in step with royal directives to strengthen national institutional cooperation.
It is noteworthy that the Faculty of Law continues to hold a prestigious position both nationally and regionally. It remains the only institution in Jordan to have achieved the FIBAA international accreditation, meeting rigorous European and global quality standards for legal education.
