The Faculty of Information Technology at Middle East University participated in the closing ceremony for the inaugural cohort of the “TechForward” initiative. Launched by the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (INTAJ), the initiative aims to align graduation projects with real-world tech sector challenges, thereby enhancing integration between academic outputs and the demands of the digital economy.
Evidencing the success of this alignment, the university’s delegation—attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Qusai Shambour—showcases qualitative technical projects that demonstrate the students’ capacity to translate knowledge into viable, innovative solutions, clearly reflecting the institution’s commitment to applied learning and innovation.
Elaborating on this strategic approach, Prof. Shambour noted that the initiative serves as a vital mechanism to embed a culture of innovation and bridge the gap between graduation projects and industry demands. He added that such cooperation ultimately strengthens student readiness to compete in the fast-evolving fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data analytics, and software development.
