Middle East University participated in the Fourth Health Conference, a move that reflects the university’s strategic commitment to utilising health-related knowledge in service of the community while fostering preventive awareness and public education.
In an effort to translate theoretical knowledge into practical action, students from the Faculty of Nursing conducted a series of health and educational activities. These sessions synthesised preventive assessments with community guidance, encompassing the measurement of vital signs, the provision of health consultations, and the distribution of simplified educational materials designed to elevate preventive awareness across diverse demographics.
Furthermore, the students highlighted the critical concepts of mental health and emotional intelligence. They addressed the challenges of social stigma through innovative and interactive methods, employing illustrative models and visual aids to enhance public understanding and deepen engagement with the university’s awareness-driven messaging.
