Middle East University has announced the launch of a new suite of academic programmes starting from the first semester of the upcoming academic year. This initiative comes as part of a forward-looking strategy focused on forecasting future professions and preparing qualified graduates equipped with competitive skills and applied knowledge across vital sectors.
To that end, the new offerings feature bachelor’s degree programmes in industrial engineering, transportation and traffic engineering, financial technology (FinTech) and risk management, cosmetology, public relations and event management, and emergency medical services (EMS), alongside the introduction of a master’s degree programme in adult health nursing.
Developed in direct response to the rapid transformations across local, regional, and international labour markets, these programmes reflect the university’s steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality education. By combining strong scientific knowledge with real-world use, MEU keeps improving how prepared students are for today’s jobs, starting their own businesses, and being innovative.
Importantly, this expansion enriches an already integrated academic ecosystem that comprises over 55 academic programmes. This framework is endorsed by prestigious international accreditations—including ASIC, FIBAA, ACPE, and ABET—alongside AACSB membership for the Faculty of Business. Furthermore, the university holds the Gold Level in Quality Assurance, six ISO certifications covering institutional management, quality, information security, business continuity, risk management, and compliance; and a strong standing in leading global university rankings.
