Middle East University hosted the global company JinkoSolar as part of a scientific event organised by the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. The objective was to enrich the technical knowledge of students and researchers and deepen scientific awareness concerning the clean energy sector.
In this context, Dr. Samer Asa’ad, Head of the Renewable Energy Engineering Department, stated that this event serves as an embodiment of the university’s approach, which is founded upon activating partnerships between the academic and industrial sectors. This is intended to create a state of knowledge and applied integration that enables students to keep pace with global transformations in the field of sustainable energy.
In their remarks, the representatives of JinkoSolar, engineers Mahmoud Abu Wardeh and Antonio Morheb, delivered a detailed technical presentation. This presentation addressed the latest innovations in solar energy storage and methodologies for enhancing the efficiency of photovoltaic systems, in addition to reviewing modern research trends aimed at reducing energy loss and improving energetic performance through smart and integrated solutions.
The event concluded by emphasising the importance of continuing collaboration in the fields of scientific research, training, and technical development, positing these as fundamental pillars for the advancement of the renewable energy sector in Jordan and the wider region.
