Amman: Middle East University hosted the third stage of the fourth edition of the Jordanian Science Olympiad Examination, with its multiple fields in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Astronomy, and Space.
The university’s decision to host the Olympiad reflects its conviction that a knowledge-generating institution must be at the forefront of scientific discovery and innovation and that it has a responsibility to empower the next generation of leaders in the field of science and technology.
A total of 6,790 students participated in the initial phase of the Olympiad, resulting in 1,370 students advancing to the third phase. The fourth and final phase of the Olympiad was also held at Middle East University, with 75 students from the districts of Amman, Marka, and Naour taking the exam.
It is also worth mentioning that the Jordanian Cultural Scientific Talent Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Abu-Ghazaleh Global Foundation, and the Jordanian Astronomical Society, as well as the Scientific Olympiad, launched the Olympiad.
