With a view to redefining the parameters of campus life, Middle East University has officially inaugurated the Next Level Arena within Building G. This strategic initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to the development of high-calibre student facilities and the cultivation of an integrated environment. By providing an extensive library of video games and sophisticated recreational amenities, the university seeks to align its infrastructure with the contemporary interests and digital aspirations of the modern student body.
In terms of the proceedings, the opening ceremony was conducted under the distinguished patronage of Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. The event was attended by a cohort of industry specialists and a significant assembly of the student community, marking a pivotal moment in the university’s extracurricular expansion.
Furthermore, Dr. Nasereddin asserted that the university is dedicated to maintaining a comprehensive ecosystem of educational and recreational services. He observed that such developments intersect with broader national strategic objectives, which position Jordan as an emerging regional hub for e-sports. Consequently, the Next Level Arena project represents a direct response to evolving student requirements, ensuring the institution keeps pace with the rapid cultural and technological shifts that characterise contemporary higher education.
In conjunction with the official opening, the event saw the launch of a competitive billiards tournament. Moreover, the university announced the commencement of forthcoming competitions, including FC26 on the PlayStation 5 platform and Fortnite for PC, further solidifying the arena’s role as a centre for competitive electronic sports.
