Middle East University (MEU) has commenced an advanced phase of its transport modernisation strategy, introducing a fleet of sophisticated King Long coaches equipped with the latest safety technologies. The initiative is designed to enhance service efficiency and significantly improve the daily commuting experience for the university’s student body.
Implicit in this development is a strategic move that aligns with the university’s broader vision to refine the student experience, particularly in light of a steady increase in enrolment and the growing geographic diversity of students residing across the Kingdom’s various governorates.
Underscoring the importance of this expansion, Dr Ahmad Nasereddin, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that the upgrade of the transport fleet represents a core component of the university’s infrastructure investment. He noted that such improvements have a direct impact on student safety and punctuality, affirming the university’s commitment to adopting modern transport solutions that adhere to the highest technical and operational standards.
Consequently, the new additions are expected to increase the efficiency of the university’s transport network and broaden its geographic reach. This development remains consistent with Middle East University’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of campus life and provide support services that meet the aspirations and practical needs of its students.
