Dr. Anas Al-Ashram, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Middle East University, has announced the development of an innovative rehabilitative approach named “NeuroReAlign Therapy”, which aims to enhance brain recovery following injury by reorganising the connectivity between functional networks.
The method is based on the simultaneous stimulation of four key areas, comprising movement, sensation, cognition, and motivation. By addressing these within an integrated therapeutic session, the approach seeks to trigger neuroplasticity and accelerate rehabilitation—marking a significant departure from traditional methods that treat each function in isolation.
