The Deanship of Student Affairs at Middle East University oversaw the student club elections, an event marked by significant participation from the student body. This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to consolidating democratic practices and enhancing student involvement within structured extracurricular frameworks.
The electoral process resulted in the selection of administrative bodies by the General Assembly of student clubs. In accordance with established regulatory frameworks, each committee comprises seven members, from whom the chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, and treasurer were elected.
Regarding the election results, Mohammad Mofeed Mahmoud Al-Ghanem was elected Chairperson of the Volunteer Club, and Batoul Hassan Saad Al-Amarat was elected Chairperson of the Entrepreneurship Club. Furthermore, several positions were decided by acclamation, including Issa Hassan Issa Amr as Chairperson of the Health Club; Mohammad Mahmoud Ali Al-Qasim for the Debating Club; Anas Majid Mohammad Al-Sayyed Ahmad for the Artistic Creativity Club; Hala Sharif Ismail Abu Suneineh for the Media Club; Dalia Walid Mohammad Saleh for the Environmental Protection Club; Ahmad Anas Ahmad Al-Masri for the Cultural Club; Mahmoud Ahmad Hamid Al-Khawaldeh for the Technology Club; Osama Mutasim Ahmad Al-Rababah for the Community Peace Club; Mohammad Wael Salah Al-Mahadeen for the Legal Clinic Club; Hassan Sinan Nizar Nizar for the Theatre Club; and Mahmoud Ahmad Mohammad Hammam for the Arab Students Club.
The voting process witnessed the attendance of the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Yacoub Nasereddin; the Vice President, Prof. Ahmad Al-Louzi; and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour.
