The Partisan Activities Division at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the British company The Savoir Fair, organised an interactive training course entitled “Empowering Youth and Women for the Labour Market”, which extended over 3 consecutive days and witnessed a remarkable student interaction that reflects the interest of the young generation in self-development and professionalism.
The course, presented by Ms. Lata Gilbert and Dr. Asmahan Al-Taher, aimed to achieve a number of essential objectives, most notably enhancing students’ awareness of the importance of engaging in the labour market and its role in shaping the professional personality.
The course focused on establishing the concepts of gender equality and gender partnership within the work environment, in addition to consolidating the concepts of self-esteem, discovering latent functional capabilities, and working to develop them in line with the requirements of the market.
