Middle East University participated in a distinguished scientific and academic experience through an official visit to the University of National and World Economy, the oldest higher education institution specialised in economics and business in Eastern Europe since its founding in 1920.
The visit was made as part of a faculty exchange grant under the European Erasmus programme and focused on transferring scientific expertise and strengthening academic cooperation relations.
Representing the university were Dr. Mohammed Al-Zayoud, a faculty member at the Faculty of Business, who delivered a series of lectures on the basic concepts of innovation management, principles of entrepreneurship, and the ethical and social responsibilities of commercial enterprises, and Dr. Jamila Mustafa, who introduced financial economics, modern techniques in banking and financial services, and risk and portfolio management.
During the visit, the delegation met with three Jordanian exchange students, Faisal Radi, Daria Al-Najjar, and Aida Al-Shteiwi, who received outstanding praise from their host university professors for their academic performance and their contributions to class discussions and research projects.
Through this initiative, Middle East University aims to consolidate its position within the network of international universities and provide more opportunities for its students and faculty members to participate in academic and research exchange programmes to serve the sustainable development of the local community and enhance Jordan’s role in the international scientific scene.
