
Dr. Ibrahim Abu Al-Sunds, a faculty member at the Faculty of Business at Middle East University, participated in the Erasmus+ academic exchange scholarship, which was hosted by Mykolas Romeris University in the Republic of Lithuania from April 6 to 11, 2025.
This qualitative participation came as a culmination of the university’s efforts to consolidate the concept of international academic mobility. During the visit, Dr. Abu Al-Sondos presented a series of specialised lectures to a group of European students.
In the presence of a number of academics representing prestigious European universities, Dr. Abu Al-Sunds delivered a comprehensive and detailed presentation in which he reviewed the academic structure of Middle East University, indicating the diversity of its faculties, the various programmes, and the strength of its international partnerships, in the presence of a number of academics representing a number of prestigious European universities.
This participation resulted in achieving a set of significant results on more than one level. It contributed to the transfer of specialised knowledge in the field of business intelligence to a new academic environment, contributed to building effective communication channels with European academics with diverse expertise, and laid a solid foundation for the launch of promising future partnerships between Middle East University and a number of European universities, in addition to deepening the values of cultural exchange and cognitive openness to the other, enriching the academic experience of both parties.
