Middle East University carried out an official visit to the Royal Maintenance Corps (RMC) Directorate with the goal of broadening institutional cooperation in the field of intermediate diploma programmes and exploring prospects for leveraging the advanced expertise and technical capabilities available within the RMC.
Headed by the President of the university, Professor Salam Al-Mahadin, the delegation also included the Dean of the Technical College, Dr. Anas Al-Ashram; the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ayman Awwad; and the Director of the Legal Department, Professor Dr. Anees Al-Mansour.
In her address, Professor Al-Mahadin lauded the Royal Maintenance Corps for its commendable proficiency and advanced technical capabilities, designating it as an exemplary training institution for intermediate diploma students. It furthermore noted that the hub is of significant importance in terms of its potential to contribute to the enhancement of employment opportunities and the improvement of educational outcomes in accordance with job market standards and requirements.
In response, Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Husainat extended a formal welcome to the delegation from the university, emphasising the Corps’ commitment to fostering a collaborative partnership with Middle East University in the presence of numerous officers and department directors at the RMC. He emphasised that the provision of technical education is a genuine national pillar, contributing to the supply of qualified competencies to both the armed forces and the civilian sector. He also expressed a clear desire to study the cooperation mechanism in preparation for its activation, with a view to achieving mutual benefit.
