Middle East University participated in the global Forbes Middle East Summit held in Abu Dhabi under the theme “Building the Future”. The event convened an elite group of media and economic leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers from around the world.
In line with this participation, Prof. Hani Al-Badri, a faculty member of the Faculty of Media, represented the university by moderating several panel discussions and specialised sessions. These dialogues addressed the future of media amid rapid digital transformations, as well as the challenges confronting media institutions within a communication ecosystem defined by accelerating technological development and shifting patterns of content production and consumption.
Crucially, Prof. Al-Badri’s involvement underscores the prominence of Jordanian academic expertise in international media forums, positioning him as a specialised authority on media, communication, and digital shifts. Furthermore, this engagement reflects MEU’s commitment to strengthening its presence on global platforms dedicated to forecasting the future of media. Consequently, it expands the university’s contribution to professional and academic dialogues reshaping the contemporary media landscape while reinforcing the Faculty of Media’s status as an active academic environment generating media knowledge and keeping pace with the digital communication sector.
