Issam Al-Kalaldeh, a student at the Faculty of Information Technology, participated in the international IEEE AEECT conference by presenting a research paper titled “HATS-Edge: A Workload-Aware Proactive Warm-Up Framework for Cold Start Mitigation in Serverless Edge Computing.”
The paper introduced a new research framework that looks at workloads in advance to help reduce the cold start delay in serverless edge computing, which improves performance and responsiveness.
Reflecting MEU’s overarching academic strategy, this participation underscores the university’s dedication to preparing qualified personnel who are capable of developing technical solutions and keeping pace with global developments in the field of information technology.
