
Her Royal Highness Princess Jalila Bint Ali presided over the graduation ceremony for students of the diploma programmes and training courses organised by the Middle East University’s Centre for Consultation, Training, and Languages. The ceremony witnessed the presence of the president of the university, Professor Salam Khalid Al-Mahadin, along with several deans of faculties and members of the academic and administrative staff.
The ceremony, which was hosted by Dr. Hanan Al-Sheikh, a faculty member in the Faculty of Media, commenced with an address delivered by the Centre’s Director, Prof. Anees Al-Mansour. In his remarks, Prof. Al-Mansour expressed profound honour at Her Royal Highness’s patronage of the event, stating that her gracious presence imparted a symbolic dimension to the occasion, one that embodies the Hashemite leadership’s appreciation for knowledge and learning. He further noted that her attendance served as a source of pride and inspiration for the graduating students, representing a tangible acknowledgement of their diligence and aspirations.
He clarified that the ceremony marked the culmination of a distinctive academic path, during which the students navigated an integrated educational experience, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application through programmes specifically designed to equip them with the tools of creative thinking and digital entrepreneurship skills.
In her subsequent speech, Dr. Maisoon Al-Asfar remarked that the graduates were viewed as ‘ambassadors of renewed thought and practical excellence’, emphasising that these training programmes were the fruitful outcome of an effective collaboration with a university committed to aligning educational outcomes with the demands of the local and international labour market.
The ceremony concluded with a special tribute presented by the president of the university to Her Royal Highness Princess Jalila Bint Ali, a commemorative shield from Middle East University, presented in recognition of her esteemed patronage and support for the advancement of education and empowerment, and this was followed by the formal distribution of certificates to the graduates.
