The Deans’ Council at Middle East University has formally decided to promote Dr. Saifeddin Mohammad Jaber, a member of the academic staff within the Faculty of Pharmacy, to the rank of Associate Professor.
With regard to his academic background, Dr. Jaber holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom. This PhD qualification follows his earlier attainment of both a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Jordan.
In addition to his academic credentials, his research portfolio encompasses a diverse range of specialisms, most notably metabolomics, drug discovery, drug delivery systems, and pharmaceutical technology. Furthermore, his scholarly inquiry extends to natural products, nanoparticles, and antimicrobial activities, including significant contributions to COVID-19 research. Consequently, Dr. Jaber has established a prominent professional standing through the publication of numerous monographs and research papers within reputable, peer-reviewed scientific journals.
