Al-Faisal Rajab, a civil engineering student at Middle East University, has secured a spot in the Erasmus exchange programme. He is set to head off to Transilvania University in Romania for the first term of the 2025-2026 academic year.
This action is considered part of a broader strategy implemented by MEU to enhance its international academic standing. The objective is to provide students with a comprehensive global education, to equip them with advanced skills, and to cultivate their leadership abilities so that they become open-minded leaders capable of making a positive impact on their communities.
It is noteworthy that Transilvania University of Brașov is one of Romania’s historic public institutions. The institution boasts a diverse academic portfolio, encompassing a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, medicine and the humanities. It is highly regarded for its commitment to research and international collaboration. The university plays host to hundreds of exchange students on an annual basis, thereby engendering a culturally rich and diverse learning environment.
This achievement underscores MEU’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange and expanding the intellectual horizons of its students through strategic partnerships with leading institutions in Europe and beyond. This initiative is in alignment with the university’s mission to cultivate a generation of young leaders who possess the capacity to shape a more promising future.
