AMMAN – Sarah Nawash, a student at Middle East University’s Faculty of Engineering and Design, has achieved a distinguished regional victory at the Arab StarPack Student 2025 competition.
Organised by the National Packaging Centre (Jopack), the competition is regarded as one of the premier specialist events in the field across the Arab world.
The winning entry, developed as part of a packaging design course, was lauded for its innovative and sustainable design solutions. The project demonstrated a sophisticated understanding of contemporary design principles and environmental responsibility. Ms. Nawash completed the work under the academic supervision of Dr. Ayat Al-Fuqara, a member of the faculty.
This achievement underscores the high calibre of academic programming at Middle East University.
