An activity at the Middle East University in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth
In cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, Middle East University organised a training activity entitled “Scout Coexistence Day” under the slogan “ A Flag that Rises and Coexistence that Transcends”.
The activity, which comes on the occasion of the Jordanian Flag Day, witnessed a wide youth attendance and remarkable interaction, as it came to strengthen the spirit of national belonging and volunteer work and consolidate the values of coexistence and identity among university students.
In his speech, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, expressed his appreciation for this initiative that contributes to the development of leadership among university youth, explaining that the revival of the Jordanian Flag Day carries great national symbolism, as it embodies Jordanian sovereignty and identity.
In response, the Head of the Scouts and Guides Department at the Ministry of Youth, Commander Gharam Al-Ajarmeh, extended her gratitude to the university for the hospitality, noting that the ministry pays special attention to the scouting movement due to its effective role in building the capabilities of youth, developing their leadership skills, and promoting the concept of teamwork.
The activity emphasised the importance of combining the symbolic aspect of Flag Day with the applied educational aspect provided by the Scout Movement, which enhances the values of active citizenship and belonging and contributes to the preparation of a conscious and responsible generation, capable of contributing to the renaissance of the nation.
