Middle East University hosted the final stage of the “Convince Me” competition, an initiative organised by the Independent Election Commission’s “Ana Osharek” (I Participate) programme. Featuring broad participation from Jordanian university students, the event epitomised constructive intellectual competition while fostering the values of responsible dialogue and informed civic engagement.
Aligning with this institutional vision, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Hazem Al-Nsour, opened the event by emphasising that hosting the competition reflects the university’s commitment to cultivating youth leaders equipped with the tools of critical thinking, constructive debate, and evidence-based persuasion, thereby consolidating active citizenship.
This commitment to academic excellence was clearly demonstrated as the Middle East University team secured third place—an achievement that underscores the advanced capabilities of the university’s students and their competence to compete successfully in national forums.
