Middle East University, represented by the Innovation and Career Development Centre, has launched the fifth edition of its “Future Leaders” Summer Club in collaboration with the STEM Village platform for educational innovation.
Designed to align with modern technological shifts, this year’s club offers advanced content that meets the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The programme features five specialised tracks: Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Media and Content Creation, and Leadership and Entrepreneurship. These tracks We strategically structure these tracks to enhance participants’ readiness for navigating to enhance participants’ readiness to navigate rapid transformations in both local and global labour markets.
Speaking at the opening of the programme, Prof. Anis Al-Mansour, Director of the Innovation and Career Development Centre, emphasised that the university continues to consolidate its role as an incubator for innovation and talent cultivation. He noted that MEU achieves this goal by providing interactive learning environments that empower participants to acquire the digital and leadership skills that form a fundamental pillar of the knowledge economy.
In tandem with this vision, Eng. Banan Al-Banna, representing STEM Village, highlighted the importance of utilising the summer break to develop personal capabilities and refine practical skills. She stated that this approach effectively converts the participants’ interests and passions into promising professional pathways within a stimulating educational environment rooted in experimentation, application, and innovation.
Concurrently, several participants expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming training tracks. They indicated that the programme provides them with an ideal space to discover their potential, develop their skills, and map out their future academic and career paths with confidence and awareness.
