The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Middle East University, in strategic collaboration with the Dean of Student Affairs, successfully orchestrated the university’s annual Sports Day initiative, drawing extensive participation from the student body alongside academic and administrative personnel.
Conceived to champion wellness and physical literacy, the event featured a comprehensive portfolio of athletic competitions and recreational tournaments. The schedule encompassed structured fixtures in football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and Greco-Roman wrestling, alongside cycling excursions and team-based championships—all intentionally designed to motivate participants to internalise physical exercise as an indispensable cornerstone of their daily lifestyle.
The day’s proceedings culminated in an official closing ceremony wherein winning teams, active participants, and institutional sponsors were formally felicitated, concluding a landmark event distinguished by exceptional community engagement and vibrant athletic cohesion.
