The Cultural Club at Middle East University celebrated the conclusion of the “Fifth Al-Aqsa Ramadan Competition”, a contest dedicated to the memorisation and recitation of Surat Qaf. The event drew a significant turnout, with 43 students participating from across various faculties.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of the university president, Professor Salam Al-Mahadin, and attended by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, alongside a panel of subject-matter experts. The proceedings highlighted the institution’s dedication to spiritual and cultural enrichment alongside academic pursuit.
Regarding the female category, Angham Ghazi Yousef Al-Manasir claimed the first-place ranking, followed by Maryam Jamal Al-Sheikh Qasim and Dania Ghassan Mohammed Al-Khalid Al-Hasni in second and third place, respectively.
Conversely, in the male category, Abdul Jawad Ibrahim Abu Snineh secured the top position, while Mohammed Khalid Taha Rabaei and Ahmad Yousef Ahmad Hamed secured the second and third positions, respectively.
