The Legal Clinic Club at Middle East University’s Deanship of Student Affairs organised a strategic field visit to the Anti-Narcotics Department, conducted in collaboration with the Public Security Directorate. This initiative served to bridge the gap between legal theory and practical societal protection.
Throughout the site visit, students toured the department’s facilities and received briefings on the various types of illicit substances and the sophisticated technologies employed in their detection. The delegation also gained insight into the logistical and operational complexities involved in safeguarding the community.
The primary objective of this visit was to enhance the students’ legal comprehension and empower them to lead awareness initiatives within the campus community. Furthermore, the engagement strengthened the university’s partnership with national security institutions, fostering a collaborative approach to social responsibility.
