Middle East University has added to its streak of competitive successes, with its team clinching second place in the National Badminton Championship. Organised by the Jordan Federation of University Sports, the event represents a significant fixture in the Kingdom’s collegiate athletic calendar.
The championship was hosted by the Jordan University of Science and Technology, drawing a diverse field of participants from 20 public and private universities across the country. Throughout this championship, MEU demonstrated exceptional athleticism and tactical discipline, navigating a crowded field of competitors to reach the final stages.
In tandem with the event’s conclusion, a formal awards ceremony was held to honour the winning teams. The proceedings were attended by the deans of student affairs from the participating institutions, marking the official recognition of the teams’ sporting merit and institutional representation.
