Graduates from the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences shared their professional journeys and success stories during their first alumni forum. Celebrating the cohorts of 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, the event was held under the evocative banner: “You… When the Slogan Becomes Reality: We Prepare Leaders”.
Opening the proceedings, Dr. Ayat Al-Maghrabi, Dean of the Faculty, emphasised the university’s unwavering commitment to arming its students with the specific knowledge, skills, and competencies required to navigate a shifting labour market. Addressing the attendees, she urged the new alumni to act as distinguished ambassadors for their institution in their respective fields.
Building on this sentiment, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, highlighted the university’s dedication to postgraduate support. He stressed that the deanship is actively seeking to strengthen ties with alumni within their workplaces while simultaneously striving to broaden employment prospects through strategic partnerships with local community organisations.
The event subsequently transitioned into an interactive dialogue, moderated by faculty member Dr. Joumana Al-Salem. During this session, graduates reflected on their formative university years, detailing how their academic experiences proved instrumental in refining their characters and honing the professional skill sets they carry today.
