The Administrative Board of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities (SFJU) has formally ratified its financial report for the 2025 fiscal year. This key resolution was reached during a high-level Ramadan session presided over by the Federation’s President, Professor Salam Al-Mahadin, who also serves as President of Middle East University, as this meeting was attended by the Federation’s Secretary and Dean of Student Affairs at Middle East University, Dr. Hazem Ali Al-Nsour, alongside fellow deans and board members from across the Kingdom’s academic institutions.
The proceedings commenced with a comprehensive presentation of the 2025 accounts by the Financial Director. Following a period of rigorous deliberation, the board moved to officially sanction the report. Furthermore, the assembly turned its attention to the financial performance of the recently concluded “The Leader” Championship. This flagship event, staged in Aqaba, was held as a national tribute to mark the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Reflecting on the tournament’s impact, the attending deans of student affairs lauded the exceptional technical and organisational standards achieved, in particular, the coordinated efforts that ensured the event’s success, noting that the execution was fitting of such a significant national milestone.
Building on this momentum, the Administrative Board transitioned to future operations by approving the sporting calendar for the second and summer semesters of the current academic year. In a final move toward international engagement, the board concluded the session by discussing Jordan’s upcoming participation in overseas competitions, confirming that student-athletes will continue to represent the nation under the Federation banner.
