Middle East University hosted a delegation from the Vocational Training Corporation to outline advanced practical training schemes and realign educational outcomes with the rapid shifts in the modern labour market.
The two parties discussed a suite of potential collaborative projects, most notably the establishment of specialist training laboratories on the MEU campus. These labs are designed to function as professional simulation environments, allowing students to refine their practical skills in a real-world setting.
This partnership aims to build a sustainable strategic alliance based on shared expertise. By integrating academic and vocational roles, the initiative seeks to enhance the quality of graduates and ensure the national workforce is prepared for the knowledge economy and the evolving demands of the future job market.
The delegation, led by the Acting Director General of the VTC, Rafat Al-Sawafin, was received by the President of the University, Professor Salam Al-Mahadin, alongside a group of faculty deans and industry specialists.
