Middle East University has marked the graduation of its latest cohort of professional training diploma students, delivered in partnership with the Gulf Innovation Academy and the Al-Rushd & Empowerment Academy.
The ceremony, held under the patronage of MP Prof. Tamara Nasereddin, celebrated graduates across four key disciplines, which comprised professional media, cybersecurity, airport management, and hybrid vehicle maintenance. In addition to the graduates, the event was attended by Prof. Anees Al-Mansour, Director of the Innovation and Professional Development Centre, alongside faculty deans and industry representatives.
Opening the proceedings, Prof. Al-Mansour addressed the graduates, noting that the university’s vocational programmes are designed as a “direct response to market demands.” He further emphasised that the curriculum focuses on building advanced practical skills to significantly enhance employability.
Complementing this vision, the ceremony featured a visual presentation detailing the practical applications of the diplomas. This was followed by addresses from Mr. Emad Al-Wafa, General Manager of the Gulf Innovation Academy, and Najah Al-Atout, CEO of the Al-Rushd & Empowerment Academy. Both speakers praised the “deep-rooted collaboration” with MEU, contending that the high standard of training is essential for preparing a workforce capable of competing in the modern global economy.
The event culminated in the formal presentation of certificates, with Prof. Tamara Nasereddin personally congratulating each of the graduates on their achievements.
