The Faculty of Engineering and Design at Middle East University (MEU) concluded its latest artistic showcase, an exhibition titled “MEU Through the Eyes of Its Students”.
The event, held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Salam Al-Mahadin, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ayman Awad, alongside fellow deans and faculty members. The exhibition presented a rich and diverse portfolio of student work, ranging from intricate architectural elevations capturing the aesthetic essence of the university’s infrastructure to contemporary 3D models of select campus buildings.
These works demonstrated a sophisticated command of colour, mass, and space, employing modern design approaches that seamlessly blend artistic intuition with academic precision.
Upon the exhibition’s conclusion, the faculty expressed its pride in the high calibre of work produced by the participating students. A spokesperson noted that these projects serve as a practical manifestation of the department’s mission to embed a culture of creativity and innovation. Furthermore, such initiatives are designed to bolster student readiness, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the labour market and adhere to modern scientific and professional standards.
