The lighting of the Christmas tree on the Middle East University campus was commemorated in a ceremony attended by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ahmed Nasereddin, and the President of the University, Professor Salam Al-Mahadin. The ceremony was further attended by the deans of the various faculties, alongside members of the academic and administrative staff and a large gathering of students.
This celebration serves as an embodiment of the values of peace, harmony, and coexistence upon which the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is predicated, further consolidating the culture of fraternity and cultural diversity within the university community.
The event featured a series of artistic and folkloric performances, alongside the organisation of the “Bazaar of Love and Peace” and an exhibition showcasing student works. These activities fostered an interactive environment that united the university community in a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the spirit of the occasion. Such initiatives contribute significantly to bolstering the values of solidarity and human connection, reaffirming the university’s role as a beacon of inclusive social engagement and cultural appreciation.
