The Jordanian Universities Handball Championship officially concluded, featuring 11 public and private universities competing under the banner of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities.
Organised in collaboration with the Jordan Handball Federation, the tournament embodied the universities’ commitment to promoting university sports. The objective of this initiative was to cultivate a culture of healthy competition, grounded in the principles of discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Presiding over the concluding ceremony in representation of the Federation’s President and MEU’s President was the Federation’s Secretary and MEU’s Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Ali Al-Nsour. Accompanying the President of the Jordan Handball Federation, Prof. Tayseer Al-Mansi, they presided over the presentation ceremony, during which the top-performing teams across the categories were crowned.
The event witnessed a significant attendance of deans of student affairs from multiple Jordanian universities, in addition to a notable presence of sports activity directors from both public and private institutions.
To commemorate the occasion, Dr. Al-Nsour presented commemorative shields to Prof. Tayseer Al-Mansi and the Chairman of the Asian Refereeing Commission, Mr. Saleh Ashour, expressing his pride in all the participating universities.
