In a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, Middle East University (MEU) hosted an Induction Day to welcome its newly enrolled students to the campus grounds, attended by the Vice President of the University, Prof. Ahmad Al-Louzi, along with several deans, members of the academic and administrative staff, and a large gathering of students from various faculties and specialisations. This event aligns with the university’s vision of fostering communication between students and the academic administration and establishing an inclusive and interactive university environment.
The event proceedings commenced with an address delivered by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsoor. He welcomed the incoming students, expressing profound pride and honour at the integration of this ambitious cohort into the Middle East University community. He affirmed that the university takes pride in being a distinguished institution for science and knowledge, a place that nurtures creativity and excellence across diverse fields.
Dr. Al-Nsoor further elaborated that Middle East University consistently endeavours to be a welcoming and supportive home for its students by providing a comprehensive university environment that promotes active participation and develops the leadership and creative capabilities of young people.
Over the course of the day, the campus was characterised by a sense of joy and interactivity. The event comprised a variety of sporting activities and competitive contests, the objective of which was to enhance team spirit and collaboration among the students. Furthermore, the incorporation of stand-up comedy performances served to introduce an element of positive interaction and amusement. The events also incorporated cultural and educational quizzes and competitions, which reflected a spirit of creativity and friendly competition among the participants.
Concluding the event with an artistic segment, the university’s choir performed a selection of songs that resonated strongly with the audience. This musical finale embodies the sense of belonging and joy that characterises the Middle East University family.
