A delegation from the Scientific Research and Industrial Development Support Fund held talks with Middle East University to explore potential avenues for collaboration between the two parties in the field of applied scientific research, with a view to aligning it with the requirements of the industrial sector.
Prof. Ahmad Mousa, Dean of the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, confirmed the university’s dedication to leveraging academic expertise to develop innovative solutions to industrial challenges, with the objective of strengthening the national economy.
As for the Fund’s Director, Engineer Abeer Ramadneh, she delivered a presentation that outlined the Fund’s programmes and initiatives, with particular reference to the Food Security Programme – Third Round, and the mechanisms for supporting collaborative research ventures between academia and industry.
During the meeting, participants engaged in a constructive discussion centred on potential avenues for collaborative research and the development of impactful applied research projects. In addition, it highlighted the necessity of ongoing collaboration between the two entities to cultivate a culture of innovation and applied research throughout the Kingdom.
