A sporting event was organised by Middle East University and comprised a series of five-a-side football matches, which were of a friendly nature. Teams from the Jordanian International Players’ Cultural Association and the Greater Amman Municipality participated, alongside teams representing the university’s staff and students.
The participating Jordanian football stars demonstrated exceptional skills, which were met with notable admiration from the attendees. Prominent figures participating in the matches included Mo’ayyad Saleem, Mahmoud Shelbaieh, Ashraf Shatat, Abdilhadi Al-Maharmeh, Awad Ragheb, Basem Fathi, Othman Al-Hasanat, Ahmad Abdul Sattar, Osama Abu To’aymeh, Ahmad Abu Jado, Khaleel Al-Hayek, Ali Al-Harasys, Mo’ayyad Al-Roumi, Malek Al-Barghouti, Hazem Jawdat, Mohammad Abu Al-Hawayej, Bassam Al-Khateeb, Mohammad Al-Sikhen, Akram Rasas, and Ayman Abdulfattah.
The Jordanian International Players’ Cultural Association expressed its profound gratitude to Middle East University for this commendable sporting gesture, emphasising that it exemplifies the profound fraternal relations that bind national institutions. In addition, they emphasised the importance of these activities in promoting sporting values and enhancing community engagement.
In response, the Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, expressed his gratitude to the Players’ Association and the Greater Amman Municipality for their proactive involvement. He commended their role in supporting university sporting events, which contribute to disseminating a culture of physical activity and team spirit among the students.
