Middle East University has signed a collaborative agreement with Al-Maqasid Charitable Hospital, with the aim of providing training for students from the Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences – Department of Physiotherapy. The objective of this initiative is to enhance the practical skills of the participants and to equip them with the necessary competencies to successfully compete in the healthcare employment market.
The agreement was formally signed by the university’s president, Professor Salam Khaled Al-Mahadin, and by His Excellency Dr. Awni Al-Bashir on behalf of the hospital, in the presence of the hospital’s general manager, Dr. Bassam Al-Shloul.
Also in attendance at the signing ceremony from the university were the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Samira Al-Habashneh; the Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, Dr. Anas Al-Ashram; the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Training Affairs, Mr. Hussam Al-Khatib; and the Head of the University Field Training Division, Mr. Mohammed Al-Kharouf.
In this regard, Professor Al-Mahadin stated that this agreement allows students to acquire the necessary clinical and scientific competencies required for distinction within the healthcare field.
In his address, His Excellency Dr. Awni Al-Bashir commended this step, noting that it reflects the keenness of both parties to build effective and constructive bridges of cooperation.
