The President of Middle East University (MEU), Professor Salam Al-Mahadin, honoured the members of the university choir in appreciation for their distinguished performances and artistic creativity, which reflected a bright image of the university and contributed to enhancing its cultural and artistic presence on the national scene, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsoor, and the artistic supervisor of the choir, Mohammad Al-Sayed.
Professor Al-Mahadin stated that the honouring embodies the university’s established approach to supporting student talents and providing a nurturing environment for creativity, noting that the university views the arts as an essential part of its educational and cultural mission.
In his address, Dr. Al-Nsoor expressed his pride in the achievements of the choir, emphasising that the refined art presented by the university students represents the university’s identity in various national events, which enhances the university’s status as a comprehensive academic and cultural institution.
It is worth noting that the Middle East University Choir is known for presenting a diverse range of vocal and musical styles, combining the preservation of Jordanian and Arab heritage with openness to global experiences, which explains the success it has achieved at the Jerash Festival and other artistic forums.
