Middle East University recently hosted the Jordanian Bar Association’s written examination, an event that saw over a thousand prospective male and female lawyers sit the test, demonstrating the depth of partnership between higher education institutions and professional bodies.
Following a supervisory visit during the examination, the President of the Bar Association, Mr. Yahia Abu Aboud, stressed that MEU represents a crucial pillar in supporting the legal trajectory within the Kingdom. He commended the university for providing a highly suitable environment and academic support that reflects its standing as a leading academic institution.
In response, the Vice President, Prof. Ahmad Al-Louzi, clarified that hosting the examination helps to familiarise law students with the practical realities of their future profession. This experience, he noted, instils a stronger sense of responsibility and professional commitment in them.
Furthermore, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Ayman Al-Rofou, stated that hosting such events embodies the university’s vision of forging strategic partnerships with national institutions, in alignment with the Royal Directives that champion integration between the academic and professional sectors. He affirmed the university’s dedication to maintaining this approach and fostering future collaboration opportunities.
The Faculty of Law at Middle East University enjoys a distinguished reputation both nationally and regionally, having achieved the prestigious international FIBAA accreditation. This distinction makes it the sole institution in Jordan to have attained this academic excellence benchmark, according to European and global quality standards
