Her Royal Highness Princess Alia Al-Tabbaa honoured the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Middle East University in recognition of the centre’s vital role in building an advanced entrepreneurial ecosystem with a sustainable social and economic impact, reflecting full harmony with the strategic directions towards a flexible and viable knowledge economy.
This came during her patronage of the “Innovation Day for Pioneer Centres”, which was held at the Sheraton Hotel in the presence of representatives of Jordanian universities, a group of entrepreneurs, experts, and those interested in the national innovation scene.
The event included in-depth presentations of models of student success stories that started from a stimulating university environment and were able to transform into entrepreneurial projects with a sustainable structure and tangible societal impact due to careful academic guidance and conscious institutional support.
This honouring event is considered the culmination of an advanced path adopted by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Middle East University, based on framing entrepreneurship within a holistic perspective that goes beyond the limits of individual initiative to building an integrated institutional environment in which the components of education, research, and development interact, in line with the rapid digital and economic changes at the regional and international levels.
