 Establishing the Middle East University has been based on excellence as a strategic option and to enable it to perform its mission and achieve its objectives, and accommodate global changes and technological developments and employ them in the service of humanity.<\/p>

 The excellence that we seek in the Middle East University requires us to harness the physical and moral capital to deepen the knowledge of its members, The University has provided a special environment, and attracted the elite of qualified professors. It has also provided study plans carefully prepared by experts and adopted a deliberate approach that links the theoretical  and the practical.<\/p>

The uniqueness of university life characterizing MEU is related to espousing the legislation of  national commitments and ideals.MEU also prides itself in its compliance with laws, regulations and instructions. It values and upholds academic freedom for the  greater prosperity, good, and development of society.<\/p>

The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
