Amman- On the behalf of Middle East University family, the member of the Board of Trustees at MEU Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin congratulated the retired Major General Adnan Al-Abbadi on the occasion of reappointing him as the Vice-President of the National Center for Security and Crisis Management. Reappointing Al-Abbadi confirms the trust of His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Hussein (the President of the Center) in him.
Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin visited the office of Al-Abbadi to extend his congratulations. During the visit, the member of the Board of Trustees at MEU stressed the depth of the partnership between the University and the Center, including the exchange of knowledge, experiences and high professional values to serve the community and its members.
It is worth mentioning that Middle East University signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Center for Security and Crisis Management to promote ways of research and academic cooperation between the two sides, in addition to boost the concept of security and strategic planning.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
