Rules of transfer from other universities to MEU:
1-Fulfilling the admission requirements of MEU.
2-The graduating University should be accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan.
3- Maximum 50% of passed courses included in the study plan may be transferred.
4-One academic semester of the upper limit allowed period for graduation will be deducted per every (15) credit hours.
5- The transferred courses will be counted in the total study plan but the grades will not computed in GPA.
6-Students with high school grade less than 60% and were registered according to admission rules at that time, may transfer to MEU and only courses with marks of 60% and above are accredited.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
